P047 A tall Japanese lactiflora
with large brilliant raspberry pink guard petals. The centre
is
a mound of cream staminodes rimmed with pink petaloids. The plant
is vigorous and has an amazing number of midseason flowers. Sass

P011 This famous old peony flower
is a riot of large gleaming white petals. Somewhere there is
always
a central petal delicately flared with red. Bred by Miellez in

P032 This is an interesting peony,
the same plant can produce blooms of cream, any shade of pink
or a combination of both. It is a bomb with a mass of silky curled
petaloids resting on large guard petals. Bred by C G Klehm in
1980.

P009 This peony flower is creamy
white with a small greenish centre deep down inside where the
petals are delicately flushed with lemon. The large outer petals
support a froth of longer inner petals which gradually become
snowy white with each passing day. Bred by Calot in 1856

it is such an incredibly vibrant clear red. Single form with

- imagine the feathers of a swan. When fully open it appears
'frill-necked' because the
base petals curve back. The stems are tall and strong, the leaves
